Rob Hawkins
Director, Wealth Management Adviser
Rob Hawkins works alongside David Pretorius and Amanda Chen to provide bespoke discretionary and investment advisory services to a wide range of broking and portfolio management clients.
Starting his financial services’ career in London in the late ‘90s, Rob initially worked for UBS, and then spent seven years at stockbroking firm Killik & Co. Rob emigrated to New Zealand in 2007, joining Macquarie Private Wealth New Zealand as an investment adviser, where he formed a great working relationship with David. Rob and David joined Jarden together, in 2011.
Rob holds a BCom (Economics & Finance) and a Higher Diploma in Education (Economics) from the University of Natal, South Africa. He is an NZX Adviser and holds a range of securities and financial advisory certifications from his time in the UK.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys being active, including surfing, playing, and coaching hockey, running marathons and off-road trail running.
