Ben Petro
Director, Wealth Management Adviser
Ben Petro provides investment advice and portfolio management services to high net-worth individuals, family trusts and charitable organisations.
Before joining Jarden in 2017, Ben held several senior fixed income and currency roles in New Zealand and London at ANZ Banking Group. This included experience in fixed income trading & sales, debt origination and risk management
Prior to his wealth management role, Ben was Director of Fixed Income at Jarden. He provided specialist fixed income advice to teams across Jarden, including supporting the internal adviser network, assisting the debt capital markets team with the new issuance process, sitting on a number of investment committees and managing key client relationships . Ben relocated to Havelock North in 2020, joining Jarden’s local wealth management team.
Ben is a Financial Adviser and holds a Master of Business Studies, and Postgraduate Diploma in Banking from Massey University. He also has a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University.
Outside of work, Ben has been involved in several governance roles in the charity, financial and educational sectors. You’ll often find him supporting at the side-lines of his children’s sporting activities, as well as occasionally fitting in a round of golf.
