Mike McIntyre
Director, Head of Commodities
Mike McIntyre provides specialist advice regarding the derivative and commodity markets, with a focus on cross commodities, Carbon, Electricity and Dairy. He advises wholesale farming clients, processors, multinationals and commodity trading houses in relation to trading, hedging and developing comprehensive risk management solutions.
Mike was previously the senior trader at Fonterra, where he was responsible for the development of the listed market and built a global network of industry and market contacts. He worked in the financial markets for 15 years, including ten years with UBS in New Zealand and London.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant, an NZX Derivatives Adviser and enjoys providing clients with additional value as Jarden expands into new areas of expertise.
