Marc Halfpenny
Client Adviser, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives
Marc advises clients across the full range of foreign exchange and derivative product, from transactional payments to hedging strategies and interest rate derivatives. He enjoys working across a broad spectrum of products and markets, and developing bespoke solutions for clients’ needs.
Marc was part of a small team responsible for testing, configuring and implementing the global market transaction software TwoFour across Jarden’s foreign exchange payments and margin business, a significant and complex two-year project.
Prior to joining Jarden in 2010, Marc spent eight years with ASB, first in ASB Securities’ share broking division, dealing in domestic and offshore equities, and later dealing FX and interest rate derivatives for a range of rural and commercial clients.
Marc enjoys keeping fit at the gym, playing football, and coaching or otherwise supporting his two sporty sons.
He holds an NZX Diploma and is a New Zealand Financial Markets Accredited Dealer.
