Laura provides specialist foreign exchange advice to individuals, immigrants and import and export businesses. She advises on FX, futures and options for both hedging exposure and speculative trading.
Laura has more than 12 years of experience in financial markets. She joined Jarden in 2007 as an operations officer before moving to the trading desk. She enjoys meeting new clients and developing bespoke trading plans to support their personal or business wealth goals.
Originally from Mainland China, Laura speaks Chinese and English, and is an active participant in the New Zealand Chinese community, being a member of both the NZCTA and the NZCBIA. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of FX futures and options products and regularly holds seminars for Chinese-speaking clients.
Laura is an NZX Derivatives Adviser. She holds a Master of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Auckland, and has passed CFA Level 1 and Level 2.
