Jeff Palfrey

Jeff advises publicly listed and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and other corporate finance advisory mandates. His experience spans a variety of sectors in New Zealand as well as advising on transactions for clients based in the UK and the US.
Beginning his career with Jarden (when it was known as First NZ Capital), Jeff then joined London-based Quayle Munro, a boutique mergers and acquisitions advisory firm specialising in media and technology transactions. After moving back to New Zealand, he spent seven years in various senior strategy and financial roles at Air New Zealand and Fonterra, before re-joining Jarden in 2022.
Jeff has strong advisory and operational experience in the agricultural sector, particularly dairy, as well as the media and technology sectors from his time in London. He has a BCom (Finance) / LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland.
A keen sports fan, Jeff is resigned to the fact that his peak playing days are well behind him. He and his wife, Victoria, have two young children – Edward and Violet.
