David Somervaille
Managing Director, Head of Risk
David (not Dougie) Somervaille’s role at Jarden involves identifying, managing and mitigating Jarden’s operational risks, as well as focusing on Australasian equity sales.
Before joining Jarden’s Institutional Equities team in 2012, David spent 10 years at UBS in Auckland in a similar role. His financial services career spans more than two decades.
Outside of work David is a keen golfer, having represented New Zealand in the sport from 1995-1997. He won the NZ Amateur Golf Championship in 1996 and placed 5th in the 1996 Eisenhower World Amateur Championships. He is on the committee of the Royal Auckland Golf Club. David loves spending his spare time with his wife Sarah and children Matthew and Amy.
