Monique Bon says her role is about transferring regulation into workable policies, processes and programmes that keep Jarden’s business compliant with law.
She has a thorough knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environments related to the provision of financial advice, including financial markets conduct, anti-money laundering and privacy legislation.
Prior to joining Jarden, Monique spent eight years overseeing risk and compliance at leading fund manager and KiwiSaver provider, Fisher Funds Management Ltd. She also has 20 years’ experience in operational and compliance roles with local and international sharebroking firms based in Wellington and Auckland, including four years with Direct Broking.
Monique is inspired by the future-focused culture at Jarden and the potential to bring ever greater efficiencies and knowledge to staff, with corresponding benefits for clients.
She is an Authorised Financial Adviser, an Associate of the Australasian Institute of Compliance, and holds a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services - Level 5. In her downtime, Monique trades her office shoes for tramping boots, hiking wilderness trails in New Zealand and around the world.
