Laura joined Jarden’s investment banking team in 2015, after two years of Corporate Finance experience at PwC. Laura has been involved in a wide range of M&A, capital markets and corporate advisory projects, and enjoys working alongside clients to help them achieve successful transaction outcomes.
Notable experience includes the sale of Icebreaker to VF Corporation, the divestment of Sovereign Assurance from Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the public market takeover of Hellaby Holdings by Bapcor, and the sale of Air New Zealand’s stake in Virgin Australia to Nanshan Group.
Laura has also worked on various capital market transactions including Refining NZ’s subordinated note offer in 2018, and the IPO of AFT Pharmaceuticals in 2015.
Laura has an LLB (Hons) and BCom (Finance) from the University of Otago, and is a CFA® charterholder. She also has a special interest in the application of new technologies to finance, and completed the Oxford Fintech Programme from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2019. Laura is a keen traveller, and loves exploring the outdoors.
