Justin Drake

Vice President, Investment Banking

Justin joined Jarden in 2015 and has since worked on a variety of transactions, including the sales of Simcro; Air New Zealand’s stake in Virgin Australia; Auckland International Airport’s stake in North Queensland Airports; PGW’s Seed & Grain division; and Tip Top, on behalf of Fonterra. In addition, he has advised CITIC Capital on the acquisition of Trilogy, as well as undisclosed defence mandates for large New Zealand companies.

He previously worked for Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank in London in their respective investment banking teams, where he worked on both sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, equity capital raises including IPOs and rights offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt capital markets transactions, and some complex restructurings. During this time, he specialised in the healthcare sector and has worked on projects in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

Justin has a BCom/LLB (Hons) and an MBA.
