Indy Silva is responsible for the running and maintenance of Jarden’s IT Infrastructure. This includes hardware procurement, managing user devices and environments, managing IT projects, third party vendor relationships and the IT Service Desk. He has key skills in the Microsoft ecosystem support, including databases and email services.
Indy previously worked at Fletcher Building for seven years and in healthcare and local government in the UK.
Indy has a BEng in Microelectronics and Software (Honours) from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and is an old Novocastrian by virtue of being an ex-pupil of the Newcastle Royal Grammar School. He is a Vmware Certified Professional.
Indy was born in Sri Lanka but spent most of his life in the UK. He plays futsal and is fortunate enough to support Newcastle United FC. He loves anything cricket-related, was previously on the committee for the Queen St Cricket Club charity and was the Treasurer for the Stonefields Scout Group for three years.
