Director, Investment Banking
As Director in the Investment Banking team, Brent Pattison’s role is to develop relevant, considered and well-researched ideas that enable capital market transactions.
Brent advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate takeovers, IPOs and secondary equity capital raises, and debt capital markets issuance. He has expertise in property, health care, aged care and retirement, and Australian financial sponsors. Previous sector coverage included telecommunications/IT and financial services.
Brent was the lead adviser on the Oceania Healthcare IPO, named Equity Markets Transaction of the Year at the 2018 INFINZ awards.
While every transaction is different, Brent appreciates the ability to contribute in a meaningful way to the New Zealand business market and economy, by supporting complex, highly visible transactions that affect the livelihoods of a range of stakeholders, from board members to staff, shareholders and funding partners.
Prior to his role at Jarden, Brent was Director of Investment Banking at Forsyth Barr.
Brent has a BBS from Massey University, and is an ICANZ Chartered Accountant. He is a Trustee and Board Member for the Laidlaw Foundation. Brent spends weekends relaxing in the Coromandel, developing his golf game and enjoying time with family.
