The Role
The Communications Manager is responsible for leading Jarden’s corporate communications strategy.  Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will work directly with Jarden’s senior leaders within and develop strong relationships with external stakeholders including media, agencies and our business partners in order to inform and influence communications strategies and outcomes. This is a new role within the organisation, which a focus on both external and internal communications.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
  • Create and coordinate high quality, accurate, shareable thought leadership content for Jarden. Owner of the corporate story plan.
  • Build and maintain great working relationships with media, other external stakeholders and influencers, and media.
  • Provide high quality communications advice and support for senior stakeholders.
  • Drive a consistent Jarden tone of voice and comms execution across all of Jarden.
  • Internal comms - coordination and writing where required
 
About You
You will be an entrepreneurial, seasoned communications professional, passionate about business and capital markets, and confident about what you do. You will exude energy and enjoy keeping up with news and insights, monitoring competitors and trends. You will be self-driven and highly strategic but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves and executing. Financial services experience is a strong preference and a real understanding of the industry and complexities are required given this complex and regulated industry.
