Tony Conroy

Tony has more than 27 years' experience in finance, investment markets and banking. Tony works closely with his wealth team, Selwyn Smith and James Hunter, to provide discretionary and investment advisory services to a full range of broking and portfolio management clients across Otago and Southland.
Growing up in Dunedin, Tony attended Otago University. He travelled extensively overseas for four years prior to returning to New Zealand and taking up a career initially in law, and then finance.
Tony has an LLB from the University of Otago, and a Business Diploma endorsed in Personal Financial Planning from Massey University. He has worked with investment institutions Cooper & Lybrand, BNZ Private Bank, and Westpac Wealth before joining Jarden in 2020.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys time with his family, restoring old houses, and vehicles.
